The Claddings Institute of New Zealand (CINZ) is a non-profit organisation established in 1991 to focus collective resources to promote quality performance of the building industry.

CINZ is a small organisation that acts as a facilitator to bring together the resources of the many sectors that make up the claddings market. Over the last few years much of the focus has been on raising awareness the weather-tightness issue. Now the Institute’s focus is moving to education of the industry based on the latest available information.

The aim of this website is to provide industry with a central source of information on the claddings industry. This will be achieved through the use of links to other information providers - including government or regulatory authorities, education providers, and commercial entities - along with papers prepared by or for the Institute. Those with an interest in the claddings market can access a wide range of claddings material though this one website rather than searching for numerous addresses.
